The organized crime-related violence left 11 dead in Chihuahua (northern Mexico) on Sunday night to Monday, including a young man who attended the funeral of a relative executed two days earlier, besides the appearance of a dismembered man, local authorities said.
Ten of the 11 deaths, including a triple and a quadruple homicide occurred in Ciudad Juarez (bordering El Paso, USA), which is the most violent city in Mexico with more than 1,900 murders so far in 2009.
The early Monday was executed by gunfire in a house in Ciudad Juarez, "an 18-year-old was at the funeral of a man (...) previous victim of homicide," Deputy Attorney General announced the Justice of Chihuahua.
